Looks like I won't be able to do Wednesday this week, got a commitment that night. Hope you guys have a good ride.
Hey guys, will someone shoot me a PM after the ride tonight and let me know if Sully Cyn is open? I can't join you guys tonight, but am trying to get our for a spin tomorrow and would love to know if the canyon is open/closed before I head out. Thanks!
Heads up guys.....I just did a ride up Sullivan Canyon and the work has started. There were multiple dump trucks and work crews up and down the canyon. You should still be ok for the ride tonight just keep an eye out for the signs they put up and numerous trail changes. On a good note the workers told me that the canyon was going to remain open (for public use) during the work.
Just a headsup they're starting to work on the fireroad and pretty much all of the fun parts of that are gone. The single track hasn't been touched.
Hey guys, with the days getting shorter and last nights ride being a lot of fun had me thinking we should get the group back together for Wednesday night rides. Thoughts? Makoto, can you do Weds. nights again? (I have a dinner obligation next week, but would love to see if we can still get the ball rolling.)
Hey Kurtis, Unfortunately, nearly all Wednesday nights will not work for me...but when I can, I will join you guys!
I can do Wednesdays but a 7:00 start is tough because I have to make sure the kids are in the bed. I can always ride the route in reverse and meet up with the group if the Wednesday ride starts back up.
Thursday is good. I'll try to make it when I can (when work isn't crazy). I won't be able to make it this week. Having some wheel tensioning issues.
What route do you guys usually ride?, and what is the pace of the ride? I might be able to join you guys from time-to-time, what is your normal start time? Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2
Up westridge and down sullivan canyon. Pace? Well... I'm a slowass climber, so I always fall back on the climb, but I work my ass off so nobody gives me any grief (thanks guys!). On the downhill I'm faster than some, so it's a pretty diverse group that seems to all be cool about going fast and going slow - however you have the most fun on the trail.
