If you can see it anywhere but in the store...I would call it advertised although I agree its not our standard when we think of advertising. Thats why you see a lot of "priced too low to show" or "price will be shown on checkout" because they know the price they are whoring it out for is bad business. I see it often at bestbuy's website as well as jenson.

Okay, you're right by the standard definition of advertised. :)What I meant was that it wasn't some glaring notice on their webpage or an email alert or something that helped point out to everyone that they had a killer sale going on.

Well, not to gloat or rub salt in an open wound, but a few of us managed to score one of these posts for $39 before the deal ended. All I can add is that i'm stoked. :)

Wow! That was quick. Arrived just a few minutes ago (slightly over 24 hours from the time of order) and it's on the bike.

I'll have to call BS on these being "take-offs." Not that I'm complaining, but the post I got clearly never saw a frame. It even came in its little Thomson cloth bag. Nary a scratch.

"Take offs" may be their way around whoring out the parts since they are no longer new but obvioulsy they are new and they were just trying to deplete inventory/cut overhead. I am sure Thomson is upset.

How can you devalue something that's not worth the asking price in the first place?

I agree on that that, but I don't agree that you never gave any "thanks" to anyone

I don't understand the concept. Can you redeem those somewhere later, like those tickets at Chuck E. Cheese?

give a brotha or sister thanks

actually they are tax refund credits , so far you're getting the same amount back

its a feel good thing...it doesnt cost anything...i notice some who rarely give any, or some who dont care for some ppl here and if that person(s) posts something thats informative they never click the thanks because they have so much inner pride--thats ugly insides if u ask me

Or I notice riders that are buddies or clique "friends" and thank their buddies every time they post something, a mass "thanks" if you will, even if its something stupid or silly, which is lame...

How hard is it to click the thanks button?....

also chuck e cheese sucks, you can get pink eye there:lol:

Mine arrived yesterday... one day after ordering it. The seatpost is brand new, inside a Thomson bag w/printed insert. Outstanding deal!

This was my first time ordering from Jensen, and I must say i'm impressed. I love my LBS, but with money being as tight as it is, deals like this are golden.
