I wouldn't mind a quick loop before the Swap Meet.
Not sure what the conditions are like with all the rain we've had. If it's all muddy I'll stay off, and just show up for the sale.

 

How do we find out the Loop's Conditions as i dont want to get there at 8:00 from south OC and then wait around if we can't ride.

Is there a website that we can check or has anybody ridden it today?

1) a new set of cranks, well new to me
2) handle bars and stem about 100 mm
3) maybe a set of hydro breaks and rotors
4) 5in/ 125mm fork on the firm side or firm springs for a rock shock tora 289
5) a fixie rear wheel
6) platform pedals.

 

looking for high raise uncut widith handlebar for freeriding 31.8mm stem clamp.

 

I'm going to be there, though it's my first time and I don't know the trail. I just figure that I'm going to get a ride in, even if I have to walk it through some sloggy parts.

 

Most people will tell you that the loop holds up well to rain - all except for the section by the train tracks and golf course. With 36 hours of drying time, it should be rideable and only mushy in some areas, but nothing people couldn't deal with. If anybody rode today - chime in!! - - Donny

 

I rode there on wed after few days of rain.. its not bad at all.. just muddy at golf course area, and the railroad track.. i rode right next to the rail, someone put thin peice of plywood which is kinda like freeride bridges.. so i would go for ride its prob been dried out today a little at most trails..

 

I'll post up weather conditions here (1 mi. from courthouse) tomorrow morning if you'd like. If they're good, I'll join you for that quick lap at 8a.

I'm in for riding tomorrow at 8am as well, and another lap or two if I can't find anything to buy

good seeing you today at the path maxwell, I didn't buy the road bike though (wrong size )

 

if i can make it 8 am is gonna be a tough one but will try. if not i'm down for a later lap if others interested (assuming i make event).

me= not too much to sell but will bring some odds/ends (rings, brakes, etc.)

biggest ticket items is a never use cyclops mag trainer if anyone has interest

only hit fully a few times and typically start midpoint (from laguna road_ so can some please post directions from tustin. i usually hit 22 -> 57 -> 91 -> euclid. is the courthouse off euclid???

Don't kill yourself getting there by 8a. If it's anything like past events, folks will be showing up throughout the day and groups heading out to ride as the mood strikes.
