    Hey guys,

Need some more advice. I am in search of a roof rack that is fairly inexpensive. I plan on carrying at least 2 bikes on it. Fork mount is fine. I am driving an 02 Hyundai Elantra GT.

    Any input?

i used to have Yakima racks, fork mountsfor my Mtn bike, that was a really good rack, held the bike real secure

make sure you get a fork mount rack if you value your bike \:D/

I have a Yakima rack with a viper and a King Cobra. I use the King Cobra with my downhill bike mainly (45lb BigHit) and it certainly does move around a lot, but there really isn't anyway it's gonna fall off. If you have a 20mm axle and don't want to take the wheel off and buy a Fork Up adaptor to use a fork mount rack, then I'd recommend the King Cobra. I've found most of the time I drive by myself to go ride so I just end up stuffing my bike in the trunk, more of a pain but more secure and less wind drag on the freeway.

I had a thule rack with a velo vise mount on my old honda for a few years and it worked like a champ. I suggest looking on ebay too- save some cash.

Any opinions on the XPORT Racks from Performance Bikes?

There are mixed reviews on MTBR.com
