I'm selling my road bike - built and ridden strictly as a trainer to complement my mountain biking, but I used to road race so I wanted to start the build with a super frame. Never ridden in the rain, never crashed, minor cable rub. I've put maybe 400 miles on it, all hill climb loops, and it's been hanging in my studio unridden for the last few months. So, I'm going to let it go (so wifey will let me keep all my MTB bikes!)...

The Scott CR1 set the standard in high-performance composite road bikes using HMF (High Modulus Fiber) to produce an extremely light and laterally stiff frameset. The SDS (Shock Dampening System) and CR1 fork provide a smooth, comfortable ride by canceling road vibrations.

It's not uncommon to see these bikes under the UCI weight limit. Currently this bike is 17.3 lbs. You could immediately knock off a pound with a Ksyrium ES wheelset for example.

    PRICE DROP $1400. :wave:SOLD:wave:

For such a nice ride those zip ties should be black to match! Sorry I have a thing against white zip ties.

If you could see my face, it would look very interested in this. What did the bike retail for when you bought it (if you don't mind my asking)? A 56 is my perfect size, and that bike looks great.

I just so happen to have a set of Ksyrium ES wheel that would go perfectly on that bike.;)

I swapped the white zip-ties for black ones. Photo updated. Have a look.

Note that they are on there because I'm throwing in the wireless Cateye Strada.

Good deal, I have the 2006 and LOVE it! Great bike and you can really tell the difference between this, with such stiffness, and lesser bikes once you get on it ;)
