It will work best if it is all one size, and one color.

what about tires, tubes, lube etc?

    Shorts-baggy-black-large

Shorts-baggy-black-large or XL:bang: should work for 90%+ of the riders out there, can never have too many.

kings are great but not much mark up in them, greater savings on the soft stuff in all probability.

seeing as it'll work best in once size/color, I went with the chain combo. I'd rather have a pair of 5.10's, but you never know...

    Group buy on beer?

Soooo much variance on stuff... even on tires!

9 speed chains would be cool. I'm always replacing mine.

The other opportunity might be to do a group buy from a single manufacturer...

Like maybe Maxxis tires, or Stone Beer....

Clothing seems to be running away with it. What about a mass buy of Hoss shorts thru the Path? That way we'd be supporting TWO local O.C. businesses.

I would buy just a chain. I have no need for a new cassette. Unless its really cheap.

I would definitely be in on this if I didn't have to spend all my money on a speeding ticket and replacing my front bumper on my truck.

I vote for tires, more specifically, Maxxis Minion/F 26x2.5 42a.

M/L bellweather shorts are pretty good to wear and are very hard wearing.
Or Cassettes and chains, as I go through at least 4 chains/year at 20 - 30 bucks each.
