36 would probably be ideal for an all arounder. I like the slightly higher BB/slacker angles of the taller fork, but a 36 will work fine.

and I wouldn't put a smaller i2i shock on, just a shorter stroke (like a 2" vs 2.25"). makes it essentially a standard reign with slacker angles. less travel-less sag-less suspension to generally get in the way.

in the interest of not doing that to a nice guy, I'm going to stop now. good luck with the sale, or good luck not selling it so you can keep and ride a great bike :bang:

    Oh My God!
Ryan let me borrow this for a day, so i did a downhill run on it..
I was gentle, but man, it felt smoother, faster and more nimble than my Glory DH to be honest.
It also jumps well, i hit the jump i posted from saturday, and it was way smoother than on my glory DH.
    Just throwing that out there.
Oh, not to mention i even got to pedal to the top of the DH run :bang:

isn't it nice actually riding a suspension that's tuned correctly? they are mini DH bikes though. had no trouble keeping up with the M6's, glories, and sundays in mammoth :bang:

Well, due to some issues with Bflo's Glory DH he's been racing this bike out at fontana and pretty much killing the competition on this bike (scept last week haha). Proof this bike is great for pretty much all DH in the area.
He did however take a little spill scratching the frame and has brought forth to my attention that the compression knob on the fork isnt working for some reason.
Im dropping the price to $1600
    I really want this moved.

If you want to trade stuff; im interested in a mandolin and a stock trials bike haha

yeah, but Bflo's a sandbagger, so....

but I think it's actually the preload adjust for the spring that's a little stuck. probably just dirty though...

    good luck again though

    ok, lets set something straight.
i did not take a SPILL in practice.
During round one, on practice day, TylerSkyler took a spill in front of me. it was so windy, when i tried to stop to avoid him, i slammed on the brakes, and my feet didnt unclip, so when the gust of wind came, it blew me over and ryans bike slid on a rock.
its not a bad scratch, i've showed it to 2 people who work at giant and they say it wont affect anything other than the way thee bike looks.
and anyways, if you buy a bike new, you never ride it to your full ability, you;re always afraid to scratch it, so whats different about buying a bike thats ready to ride as hard as you can rail it?

for the record, i have been killing all the kids on DH bikes in my class.
not killing, but i have placed top 4 in every race so far.
also, if i didnt owe on my glory, i would buy this, its just a sweet bike.
it isnt even set up correctly for my weight, and i still kill it, imagine if it were dialed to my skinnyness?

My fixie is all fine and dandy, i might even sell that and hook it up with something that can barspin.
School starts next week and i need book moneyyyy. Also since ive been doing a lot less mountain biking the appeal of a BMX or trials bike has skyrocketed :?:
