http://www.bicycleretailer.com/news/newsDetail/1692.html Dino Brown soon will be riding an Ellsworth on a trail near you ........ Death to the DW :?:
i like how they keep saying that the "ICT system will improve efficiency, traction control, bump absorption and overall ride quality" and that the "ICT’s energy-efficient suspension technology will enhance Iron Horse’s already fully loaded high-end line up".
No Hate........ only love for the Ellsworth product.....well at least until the Iron Ellsworth comes out
I was on the road back from Tahoe and saw a bar called the Iron Horse and there was a Wallmart truck parked out front. I really should have taken a picture huh.
You gatta be kidding me.... #-o First IH loses the DW-Link A few months later, it is announced SAM HILL will be riding for... Specialized. rotest: Now comes word I will be asked to defend Tony Ellsworth on message boards. Who ever said life was easy #-o
Yikes Dino you better hitch your wagon to some other zealot / homer product. May I suggest Time pedals:?: You should see the beating I get#-o
Just maybe, I'll finally have some form of respect for Iron Horse but don't bet the farm on it, Dino.
"The folks at Iron Horse share my vision for building bikes with real, proven suspension technology, rather then concocting some gimmick to market for another few years before the next new gimmick,” said Anthony Ellsworth, founder and patent holder of Ellsworth’s ICT technology... WOW, did he just call the DW link crap? Yes, I believe he did.
Iron Horse should hire Turner’s Marketing Director. He/she has experience marketing the switch to an inferior suspension design. Bada bing!
True...if everyone rode one, joggers could hear them all coming with the bottom bracket creak  Maybe they should market that?? See now I'm just throwing mudpies. It's Taco Tuesday after all hee hee. I actually like Intense.
Has anyone stopped to think maybe, just maybe, an Ellsworth rider might read this thread, and feel very, very sad? Seriously people.
I've always said it's the bike and NOT the rider! TE has just confirmed this: "ICT-equipped full suspension designs perform better, have more energy" My 5.5 Spot is sooo lazy...
"Dave Weagle, the inventor of the DW Link, decided last July not to renew the license with Iron Horse. Pivot, Ibis and Independent Fabrication also hold licenses for the DW Link, and Weagle is expected to name a fourth licensee next month." Dino, I think you should retain your commitment to the DW Link, rather than saddling up on the Horse. Just think of the years of Fully Loop joy you can have when Weagle announces the fourth licensee is Motiv, and that they have just signed Steven Jackson as a team rider! :bang:
