The person who was sending me the sample was supposed to send it when he returned from vacation, so i'll shoot him a pm and check on the progress. I'll still hook you up with the discount since the delay is on my end, not yours.:)

Ok guys, just an update, I've been pretty swamped with the large amount orders i've recieved and things are moving a bit slower than expected. There's quite a bit of work involved in designing, programing, and tooling up for each size, BCD, and type of material. For this reason, i decided to cut the stainless chainrings from my lineup temporarily. Stainless cogs will still be avalible. Also, there will be a week lead time from when payment was recieved for all orders.
This will help me work on getting my operation running as efficent as possible so i can get more out, for a cheaper price in the future when volume picks up.
For anyone that has already ordered stuff, if you have not recieved it yet, it should be there shortly.
Just to let you guys know, i'm really excited about this, and i want to turn it into something good. I appreciate all your business, and i cant wait to come across some of my own work on the trails.:)

Could you make a 36t cog that I could swap into my 1x9 setup? Currently using an 11-34 cassette but could remove one of the smaller cogs. Would like 316 SS as it's the same material I have holding my arm together :)

Good question. I'd buy at least 2 or 4 of them if they had an integrated spacer to keep them from digging into alloy freehub bodies.

Didn't think of an integrated spacer but really like that idea. Actiontec makes Ti 36t and 38t single cogs for this purpose but uses a spacer kit. http://www.bikepacking.net/reviews/bike-components/actiontec-36-tooth-cog/

Sounds like you've got a couple people already interested in this option! I bet it'd be popular with the 29er crowd here.

I just got a sample WI ring in the other day, and i need to do a sample to make sure it fits correctly. After that, i'll be able to start making them.

That is a really good idea. Only issue i see would be the ramps and tooth profile. It probably varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, and it needs to line up with the existing ones. I could do a wider base so it is spaced properly with the existing cogs.

interesting.... theirs arent ramped and they claim it works great.

I have a good friend who is a machinist and designer who made a copy of another chainring similar to a boone and I have the aluminum one at home.

Do you need anyone to help you with set up and or making these things. He has a shop in south county and is in need of some projects.

I may be in need of a 19 tooth cog too.

    replied!

I think mine are cool, but i guess "cooler than Boone's" is open to interpretation. I guess mine are cooler for the fact that they can still be purchased

Are you still making chainrings and cogs? It's kinda quiet around here.
