2005 Kona Coiler... it's in great shape! Just got it totally overhauled replaced all the cables / Replaced Stock Rims w/Supergo Launch FR Wheelset....fully cleaned and re-greased everything. The bike is in perfect working order and I want to get rid of it ASAP. I am looking to get something a little lighter ... the coiler is surprisingly a pedal friendly bike but im just looking for a change.

    $1300 or OBO

I almost bought a Coiler.....the geometry is a HUGE difference, among other things.....the Stinky is not a bike you wanna climb on. of course you can, but if you want to climb, i woudl not be considering a stinky.

    It's still here ;-)

I still have the coiler if any of you are interested. I agree with the last post... you don't want to do any sort of XC riding on the Stinky... fun as hell downhill but the coiler you can actually pedal up hill pretty comfortably. I use the coiler as my main bike XC and some FR ... mostley XC though. Im a pretty tame rider... let's put it this way... im still scared of stairstep... tried it once on my old Kona Kikapu and almost craped my pants.

i've always wanted to test ride one of these things. i ride a medium huckler which is 17.5 inches i think (probably am wrong). i'm afraid the 19 inch coiler would be too big for me.

The only upgrade I did was the wheelset... it's got a Launch FR Wheelset.
Other than that... everything else is STOCK.

so it looks like a real good bike, from what ive read its got 6" all around travel, and th eonly weakness if you want to call it that WAS the wheels and not having a bash gaurd. im pretty sure i want this bike. perfect size too.
