Hi everyone! Tomorrow, 12/4/14, I'll be riding my unicycle 100 miles to raise money for Leukemia research for City of Hope. I'm dedicating the ride to my brother, who recently passed away after a long and heroic battle with the disease. Wish me luck! https://www.crowdrise.com/100mileson.../terrypeterson
Good luck Terry! I know first hand how heroic the battle is with Leukemia. You're riding for a good cause. I wish I could join you, instead I'll be cheering for you.
I'm sorry for your loss Terry. Have a great ride today in memory of your brother. 100 miles is nuts...on a unicycle. Dayum! You are pretty awesome on one wheel.
Thanks much guys! What a fantastic day! Started at 6:15am, and hit the century mark at 5:10pm, so 10 hours, 55 min. Not a bad total time considering breaks, filming while riding, and the TV news interview took about 45 min.The weather was close to ideal, and it was the smoothest and most awesome long ride I've had yet, mostly because I was doing it for my brother, who I felt was right there with me! I'll get a good night's sleep then try to work on getting the video online by tomorrow afternoon. Thanks to all for your support and inspiration! I loved every mile of it!
Here's my new 36er Century ride video I did in tribute to my brother. Was so psyched about doing this ride that I didn't get much sleep the night before, but wasn't going to let that stop me! Hope you enjoy. TV interview at the end.
