    w underground is showing rain there now. snow level is 9500 feet. its snowing up high there but not sure about in town.

    NICE!!:bang: i was hoping they were wrong. 9500 feet sounded really high for the snow level. it said 8k for big bear. hopefully it lowers and we get some locally too.

    Mammoth is opening Friday, Oct 16, 2009! 2nd earliest opening EVER!

    Mammoth opening Friday with "FREE" day!

    Mammoth is opening Friday!! Looks like Chair 1 and upper lifts!! Maybe chair 2 but they are not sure.
    Friday will also be a free ski day, NO CHARGE!!!:bang:

    Snow Report for Tuesday Nov 10

    Mammoth Mountain is open for skiing and riding. The following lifts are operating, Broadway Express and Face-lift Express. Lifts run daily from 8:30am to 4pm. Other lifts will be added as soon as conditions allow. At 6am this morning temperatures at Main Lodge are about 39 degrees, winds averaging 11 mph. Up at the summit the temperature is about 26 degrees winds averaging 33 mph. Always remember that obstacles do exist so please ride with caution.

    Don’t forget to join us this Saturday, November14th at 7pm for the premier of Mammoth’s new movie Hot Laps. Directly following will be a concert with Shiny Toy Guns playing at Canyon Lodge.
