You good with tools? You could probably make one for 10-15.00 with stuff from lowes.

Really like the Ultimate repair stands. High quality, functionally effective, great looking and easy to use. I think it's quite a bit more than $100 though.

I've been searching online for a quick release type tubing/pipe vise or clamp that would hold a seat post. I havent had any luck yet, but If I can find one that will work I will fab some stands up and sell them really cheap to you guys. Keep your eyes open and PM me a link if you find something worthwhile.

our Feedback Pro Elite Bike Repair Stand is great

best price seems to be on the Velotech ebay shop site with no tax & free postage, Velotech also refunded the postage for the stands storage/tote bag bought at the same time - which was rather nice of them

although a tad expensive, the Pro Elite is a proper tripod work stand - so its less likely to topple over with a bike onboard

I also got the Feedback Pro Elite Stand on ebay. I had aspire velotech set up a new Buy it Now auction item to include the tote bag and used the Bing eBay cashback (which was only 8% at the time).

the stand is sturdy enough for my 35+ pound knolly. it does sway a little bit, but not too bad.

PT PCS-10 - I tried a couple of others mentioned here. Returned all of them for the PCS-10. You can't go wrong.

1 more vote for the pcs-10. Great stand and you can get it for a good price when performance has their coupons

I got my used Park PCS-1 off craiglist for 60 bucks. Spend 60 bucks get a good stand or fiddle around and make one in a week?

    Repair Stand Advice

Alright then. I am hoping to get some thoughts on Bike Repair stands. I can't use a bench or wall mount unit. What are your opinions of stands readily available. Tipping problems, cheap plastic components, folding legs, whatever. Thanks to all in advance.

I have the ultimate pro elite and love it. It is super stable and has a great clamping arm.
