Gotta move some inventory so these are going cheap. Prices are for the frames pictured below.

All frames are brand new. Some were built up for floor bikes, but never ridden....beyond the parking lot.

The Blur XC's I can mix and match when it comes down to rear shocks, but the prices may change.

Forwarded this to a buddy who is looking for a Blur. Medium is just his size. Happy to try and steer some business to you; Switchback has always been good to me.

He's not on STR, but he can get in touch with you at the shop, yes?

Speaking of a Santa Cruz XC

    J,

What's the cost of maintenance for installing a new bearing package? My XC is about 4 years old and probably needs the bearings replaced. I'm starting to get lots of squeeks and creeks. Come to think about it, the bottom bracket ...XTR & although quiet, probably needs maintenance too...

    Thanks...

Darn...I was hoping for a medium polished Chameleon.

I'm surprised that a number of these frames aren't sold yet.

Howdy-- been talking to Sherry about the the medium Blur LT1-- essentially, I'll swapping over almost all my parts from existing bike onto this frame.

-How much of a difference is there between the Blur LT1 and the new LT2? Sherry said the the LT1 is a Made in USA frame and the suspension design is exactly the same. Also, can I swap out the RP3 on the frame to an RP23? What fork would you recommend and would you be able to give me a deal on the fork/headset?

-The parts I have on my Giant Trance 1 and would want to put on the Blur frame are: '08 XTR derailleurs/shifters; RaceFace Deus XC crankset/rings/bottom bracket; SRAM PG990 cassette and PC 991 chain; Thomson stem/RaceFace Next SL carbon riser bars; Avid Juicy Ultimate brakes; RaceFace Deus XC post and WTB Rocket V saddle; Mavic CrossMax SL wheels w/Maxxis High Roller 2.35 tubeless tires. I really want to try and do this as economically as possible.

-Do I need to do a thru-axle? I basically ride stuff like Rock-It, Meadow, Rattlesnake, Whiting Ranch, 5 Oaks.

Sherry thinks that the Blur medium may be a little small for me. I'm planning to come by tonight with my Trance to see what you guys think. :?:

My wife has a medium Blur LT1 that I will bring with me this afternoon. That way you can try out the medium and see how it fits.

There is no real difference in the RP3 and RP23....one has 3 position lever setting and the other has 2 position with a preset.

The LT1 works best with a 140mm fork, but can run up to 160mm. Thru axle is not really needed, plus it will help keep the weight down.

Come see us and we will see what we can do.

Thanks! I will probably opt for the Fox 32 Talas RLC fork; will need a headset (Chris King); and a new seatpost (Thomson). Will the CrossMax SLs be burly enough for this bike?
